The DJ was born on 8th September 1989 in Stockholm, Sweden

 

Avicii started out by making mixes in his own bedroom after finding his passion during his senior year at high school. He was eventually discovered by his manager Ash Pournouri who stumbled upon one of his blogs and invited him for a coffee. From there he signed his management deal and now credits Ash as a second father for all his help

 

Avicii's latest single 'You Make Me' features vocals from fellow Swedish producer and singer Salem Al Fakir and Wake Me Up' is a collaboration with 'I Need A Dollar' man Aloe Blacc
